Nick Allen

Nick is a Partner at Change Agency, a research and consulting business led by experienced senior executives who help companies and non-profits to anticipate, plan and deliver change successfully. Their principal philosophy is that change comes from within, and its work for clients is designed to provide new perspectives, build consensus and drive adoption. Nick has deep experience in the energy sector, having worked extensively on the key solutions that are driving the rapid transition underway in the sector.

Prior to joining Change Agency, Nick most recently set up and ran part of the European Energy practice at Navigant, a leading energy research and consulting company. He began his career in marketing at Procter & Gamble. Nick then spent 15 years at Shell, where he served in a variety of senior global, regional and local leadership roles across the Downstream business. He also led the group’s business development activities relating to smart cities, electric mobility, and low carbon solutions, managed the strategic relationships with leading automotive companies in Europe and Asia, and led Shell’s internal management consultancy business.

Nick is most at home working across countries and continents, and has a particular passion for forging a more sustainable world for his children’s generation. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
