Partnership with the City of London Corporation’s Sustainable City Awards

The Ecological Sequestration Trust is a Partner in the City of London Corporation’s Sustainable City Awards.

The 2011/12 round of the City of London Corporation’s Sustainable City Awards, the RSA-accredited awards scheme, which celebrated its’ tenth anniversary last year, is now open for applications through the website: www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/sca

12 categories strong, this year the Sustainable City Awards will focus the Sustainable Food category on Fish – to reward organisations playing their part in fishing responsibly.

The City of London Corporation will partner with the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers and Sustain – The Alliance for Better Food and Farming, to deliver the Sustainable Food category, which has been celebrated for three years.

With applications open until 14th November, winners of the 2011/12 Sustainable City Awards will be decided by Judges in December this year, with presentations being made to winners at a Mansion House awards ceremony in March 2012.
