The aim of this Roadmap is to provide a very practical, step by step action plan to support the World Urban Campaign and Habitat III process, that will show how municipal and city governments, citizens, civil society, the private sector and faith communities could work in partnership with the support of Nation States, at the required speed and effectiveness, to mobilise trillions of dollars and expertise to deliver sustainable development objectives in urban areas and build the New Urban Agenda. It also provides an action plan for national governments to create the enabling environment for the plan to succeed.
Consultation complete
The report has been created by an expert group who met in March 2016. After consultation through to the end of April, all the comments and suggestions have been consolidated into the online version.
