Trust helps with Zhuhai, China’s plan to become waterside-marine smart city +  habitable high-grade riverside region

INTERNATIONAL advisors to the city’s waterfront yachting industry were appointed at the Zhuhai Waterside Yachting Industry Planning & Investment Seminar a week ago Sunday.

They are Ana Gelabert, planning director for the city of Miami from 1998 to 2010; Cemeron Caldwell, Australia Gold Coast City Planning Commission chairman; Michel Cavailles, Port Camargue director; Peter Head, executive chairman of The Ecological Sequestration Trust (Eco Trust); and Andrew Chapman, chairman of Australian Marina Industries. Mayor He Ningka presented a Letter of Appointment to each of them.

Dozens of domestic and overseas yachting industry experts, executives and investment institution executives took part in the seminar.

The Zhuhai Waterfront Yachting Industry Development Strategic Plan, which has just been worked out, stipulates that efforts will be made to make Zhuhai the most waterside-marine characterised smart city in China, one of the most habitable environmentally friendly waterside cities in Asia and an international-level high-grade riverside region…
